The tips you need

There's always a moment of panic right before a trip. That's a good thing for me, because it forces me to go through the basics.

Passports

Learn from our mistakes; always triple-check your passport expiration dates!

If you're American military stationed overseas, that means keeping up with two sets of passports- tourist passports and Official Passports.

Scheduling

If you have children in school, their calendar runs the family calendar. As soon as the school calendar is posted, start planning your trip.

Americans overseas, take advantage of the U.S. government holidays because Europeans won't be traveling to tourist attractions on those days.

Strategic Packing

Traveling to Europe from the US? Try packing in a carry-on inside your checked suitcase. This way, you'll have a 2nd bag to fill with souvenirs for the plane ride home. There are amazing antique treasures and incredible prices on European beer and wine, so thank me later and bring some of your favorites back home.
